About Melissa

Melissa is an artist based in Trigg, Western Australia. Growing up in Perth with its remarkable coastline ignited her love of the beach. Melissa has spent much of her free time travelling to remote beaches throughout Australia and overseas, fuelling her fascination with the ocean and coastal landscapes..

Melissa’s art is a reflection of what’s important to her; places, people and things that invoke a sense of calm and nostalgia. Striving to create paintings that draw you in for a closer look, forging a connection between the viewer and the artwork.

Creating paintings in the style of realism using oil on canvas and soft pastels on paper allows Melissa to capture the essence of a moment in time.
